Mission:
The mission of the Santa Barbara County Alcohol and Drug Program is to seek
and provide leadership in mobilizing community resources to reduce alcohol
and other drug problems in Santa Barbara County.

our primary service population.
2. We value providing county residents with quality services.
3. We value a coordinated network of community-based organizations as the
primary method for providing services.
4. We value alcohol and other drug services designed to meet the needs of
families, workplaces, and communities.

approaches that lead to community solutions.
6. We value a treatment system that results in individual, family and community
recovery.
7. We value an effective and coordinated service system within the Department
of Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services and other public and private
