Vision:

Our vision is a community resilient to the effects of alcohol and other drug problems.

Mission:

The mission of the Santa Barbara County Alcohol and Drug Program is to seek and provide leadership in mobilizing community resources to reduce alcohol and other drug problems in Santa Barbara County.

Values:

1. We value those experiencing alcohol and other drug related problems as our primary service population.

2. We value providing county residents with quality services.

3. We value a coordinated network of community-based organizations as the primary method for providing services.

4. We value alcohol and other drug services designed to meet the needs of families, workplaces, and communities.

5. We value expanding prevention resources and the inclusion of environmental approaches that lead to community solutions.

6. We value a treatment system that results in individual, family and community recovery.

7. We value an effective and coordinated service system within the Department of Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services and other public and private agencies.
